Can you share your stretch mark prevention ritual
I understand there is a genetic component but I was able to get away with no stretch marks with DS even though Mom and Sis have tons. I'm attributing this to being 25 and very fit, plus I used lots of baby oil and cocoa butter and carried small. With this child, she is super high and I am much wider than I was with DS at this point. I am thinking I might not be able to escape stretch marks this go lol and that's okay- just looking for any tips or great creams that are out there that can help my skin stretch a bit easier. So far I'm using just a regular Aveeno cream with Honest Belly Balm. What are you using? Do you find that it's helping with the stretching and itching? Thanks!

Can you share your stretch mark prevention ritual
Honestly I think it's all genetic. With DS I got none, this time none either, I did nothing and my belly was/is huge both pregnancies. I know people who carried smaller and got them so I think it's the luck of the draw.

I totally get that. Just looking for what creams people are using to help things stretch easier and not be so itchy. I'm getting the itching early unfortunately :/ Hoping that I'll be just as lucky with #2!

Can you share your stretch mark prevention ritual
I used Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Tummy Butter for Stretch Marks after every shower followed by cocoa butter lotion religiously. My sister and mom have stretch marks, but I do not. I figured trying to prevent them was better than doing nothing.

Can you share your stretch mark prevention ritual
I used the Bio Oil and also Earth Mama Natural Stretch Oil. Would alternate the two - put one on in the morning after shower and the tiger at night. Thankfully ended up with no stretch marks :).

I use Whish whipped body butter. I still am getting stretch marks but it helps immensely with the itchiness and the stretching feeling I was getting on my skin.

There is no cure for stretch marks but to minimize them I did this. I love cocoa butter!

You can use organic coconut oil. It works great and its completely natural. Plus it smells great and gets absorbed pretty quickly into the skin so you don't feel greasy.
I use it on my babies as well.

I agree. I didn't get any the first time and none this time either, yet. Knocks on wood!
I don't think there's really anything you can do to prevent them. I think creams are a bunch of bull. Just a marketing scheme.

Re: Can you share your stretch mark prevention ritual
I have stretch marks on my hips so I know I'm prone to them, but didn't get any on my stomach with my first pregnancy. I used Mustela Stretch Marks Double Action the first time and am using it religiously this time around too. I'm hoping it will help with the itching and maybe help avoid stretch marks again too. Fingers crossed.
