Flinstones vitamins
I've heard some girls take these when they can't take their pre natals. I asked my Dr. And he said they don't have enough iron. Today I was in Target and I found them but now with iron. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if it's ok to take. Some nights I just can't get my Citra Natal down, they are huge. Has anyone done this?

My doctor also prescribed me citranatal which I also had a difficult time with due to the size of the pill and it did NOT help me go to the bathroom even though mine had stool softener in it. I switched to over the counter "women's one a day prenatal" and I did much better with those! It is two pills one small gel capsule for the dha and the regular vitamin with the added iron which was I believe slightly smaller than citranatal. I happened to really like it.

I can't swallow pills and I took children's vitamins. I think I just took 2 a day.
ETA: Still took a separate folic acid since it was easy to swallow.

I took vitaFusion prenatal but they do not contain iron. I took an iron supplement recommend by my OB in my third trimester bc I was anemic.

Re: Flinstones vitamins
I also take vita fusion gummies. The dr. Said that they didn't have iron but per my bloodwork my iron levels were fine. If iron is low you can take a supplement...

Re: Flinstones vitamins
The issue with Flintstones, even the ones with iron, is they are made for kids and therefore probably a smaller dose. You need a TON of Folic Acid too while pregnant and I doubt the Flinstones have enough of that. Even if it says 100% of the daily value of this or that, that is based on a child, not an adult
They do make adult gummies, etc though

That's what I was wondering. I compared the ingredients to my prescription and according to that, 2 Flinstones would equal just about what my prescription has, except there's no DHA. Ugh. I had no issues taking these vitamins with my last pregnancy. Now I gag at the thought of having to swallow them. They're as big as horse pills! They don't make me feel sick either when I am able to get them down and that's why I liked them.
