sleeping set up?

Where did your twins/multiples sleep? We were going to set up two pack and plays in our room but it will be very crowded. I wasn't going to sleep them together - but then we thought maybe just set up one crib in our room and let them both be in it together? I will be nursing so I want them in my room for at least 2-4 months.

Re: sleeping set up?

We are planning to put two bassinets in our room until we move them into cribs. DD spent 6 months in our bedroom - the first few in a bassinet and when she outgrew that we got a spare crib that later went to my parents' house.

sleeping set up?

I would use 2 bassinets or 2 rockn plays. I had a double packnplay with the bassinet top and I hated it. I wouldn't recommend it for infants

Re: sleeping set up?

I did 2 bassinets in our room. To me, they are firmer and more supportive than the pack n play mattresses. Now at 5 months they are in the cribs.

I had 1 pack n play with both of them in our room for 8 weeks until we transitioned in them to separate cribs in their own room.

Re: sleeping set up?

We set up one of their cribs in our room for the first 4 months. They slept in there together, when they weren't in their rock n plays. By 4 months they couldn't share anymore as they were moving around too much and I stopped pumping/breastfeeding at 4 months anyway. If you have the room in your room for a crib I found this to be the safest option for them for overnight sleeping.

ETA: They went into separate cribs in the nursery at 4 months.
