23 Weeks Pregnant - Pressure in Belly
Hi - so today I had pressure in my belly and I would almost say it was painful and I felt like my belly was very heavy. Of course, I freaked out and called my DR and went in to see him . He checked my cervix, checked the baby and everything looked perfect. I wasn't having any contractions. He said that pressure is NORMAL.
Does anyone else experience this? I am 23 weeks and I guess it is the baby stretching everything out inside of me, but I still feel so uneasy about it!
I was glad I went to the DR....

Sounds like Braxton hicks! I am 24 weeks and just started getting them randomly. Glad everything's okay!

I agree, probably Braxton hicks. I get them all the time. My belly tightens up and it's very uncomfortable. They don't last long, thankfully!

Braxton Hicks is when your belly gets very hard for a few seconds. It's weird but shouldn't be painful.

Where is the pressure? is it super low? I find that towards the end of the day, between my horrible desk and just gravity, the muscles in my lower abdomen/pelvis feel sore like they need extra support - this started probably around that same time. I picked up a support band but I don't think I know how to use it properly, lol!
