Deer Park
My hubby and I have been looking for our first home for a while now... Finally found one we really like in Deer Park! It's within our price range and is the perfect distance between both of our jobs. I researched online and it seems that the area in Deer Park we would be in is bordering Babylon. According to the websites I looked at, it is one of the safer areas in Deer Park.
I'm just looking for opinions from real people rather than ratings online - what are your opinions on Deer Park? The school rating from 2012 is higher than my own high school so I'm not very concerned with that since both my hubby and I turned out fine lol. The neighborhood itself seemed very nice - paved, curbs, nice well-kept houses.
Any opinions would be appreciated. Thank you!!

We moved to Deer Park in 2011 and we love it. My DS is 4 and will not be starting Kindergarten until next year. What area of Deer Park are you considering moving too?
