Thanks for all the advice! I love Pierce but my husband will not let me have it as a first name. Therefore it must be the middle name. I like Reese but not with Pierce and Pierce is not negotiable.

I like The name Reece better, but not with Pierce. It almost rhymes. Also, I agree with PP that Reece is more feminine and Rhys I like better as spelling for a boy.
Because of this, I would go with Julian.
