Anyone use Great Neck Obgyn? First appt?
Anyone use the doctors at Great Neck OBGYN? If so, what did they do at your first appointment?
Mine is 7 weeks on Wednesday and I'm curious what we will do besides blood work? Can I see the baby and hear a heart beat at this appointment?

yes!! Dr sadaty/rifkin/santoyo/kauffman?
if so then they do a whole bunch of bloodwork, do a normal OB check up with pap and all, then they do intra-vaginal sono to see the sac and heartbeat.. Yes at 7 weeks you should definately be able to see the heartbeat! good luck:)

if so then they do a whole bunch of bloodwork, do a normal OB check up with pap and all, then they do intra-vaginal sono to see the sac and heartbeat.. Yes at 7 weeks you should definately be able to see the heartbeat! good luck:)
all this, and I love them, esp Kaufman and Rifkin who delivered my two children,

Agree.
Love them all. Kaufman delivered my daughter 5 1/2 years ago and my son this past July.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Rifkin yesterday and I loved him and DH loved him too!!
I thought I was 7 weeks today but I measured 6w2d so today I am 6w3d. Saw the heartbeat and it's always a pleasure to hear "Your odds of miscarrying just went from 20% when you walked through the door to under 5%."
Since I was earlier than he thought he said I can come back at 9 weeks to make sure the baby grew and then at 12 weeks I do the Ultra Screen and find out the sex with that new blood test!
