Adding someone to deed...

How would I go about doing this? And, is it even something I can myself or do I need an attorney?

thanks

Speak to your real estate attorney. I believe it costs about $500.

You need a lawyer and it's considered a deed transfer since it's going from one person to two, and a new deed has to be drawn up. The office I worked for charged $550 to do this several years ago.
