fetal heartbeat at 29 weeks???
I went for my check up today and the baby's heartbeat was 124. That seems low to me but the dr said that's normal. I feel like each appointment, the heartbeat is lower and lower. Last month it was 142. Should I be concerned even if the dr isn't? I am 29 weeks pregnant with a boy and a little nervous.

Normal range for 29 weeks is 120-160. You're good.

It's supposed to start slowing down, so 124 is totally normal.

The closer you get to your due date, the closer the heartbeat gets to a normal rate of about 120. Like ours!

Please trust your instincts and pay attention to any decreased movement. A dear friend had a similar issue and turns out her placenta abrupted (was starting to leak first) and she had to deliver at 32 weeks. Thankfully both did just fine but I firmly believe in going with your gut and report any other changes.
