small gifts for preschool teachers

We have a class mom who collected money to buy the teachers gift cards but I want to get them something extra.
I'm baking with my mom this week so I was thinking of wrapping up a few muffins or a mini loaf of bread with jelly.
Any opinions on baked goods?
Please let me know if there are any other ideas.
It will be 3 teachers.

I'm just baking the three teachers cookies and giving them each a $10 gift card to Starbucks. No one from our class collected money for a gift. I figured that was thoughtful enough!

I have a lot of family and friends who are teachers, and they always say that gift cards (in any amount) are always appreciated. I always want to get a more "personal" gift, but I am told that gift cards are preferred, even if it's a $5-10 coffee gift card.

I think baked goods are a great and so thoughtful, but I always fear that maybe the recipient has food restrictions or allergies or is trying to lose weight or whatever! I think the gift cards are safe.

FWIW - I am the class mom for DS's kindergarten class and am getting gift cards as the class gift, but will likely also get another gift from my DS to his teacher (and will probably stick with some sort of gift card!).

I think a handwritten card with a heartfelt message of a appreciation also goes a long way to personalize a gift/gift card! And that's what teachers often remember.
