spinoff to tub
I had glass shower doors in my apartment. In my house I have a curtain. I will never go back to shower/tubs doors. Annoying to give kids a bath and just annoying in general. Much prefer the curtain.

Re: spinoff to tub
I have a sliding shower glass door & I love it with kids. My 4 & 2year old kids splash & go nuts & water remains in the tub. I actually throw on shorts & hop into the tub to wash them with the shower head instead of kneeling over the tub. It's easier for me. My parents have a curtain & I hate giving them baths over there. Water end up all over the floor & it drives me nuts.

i've had both and prefer the glass door. i can put my 5 year old in the shower and close the door and let him go nuts without splashing everywhere. if you have a bathe a baby you just get those padded mats that go over the railing so you dont feel it

For a baby I would hate doors....are are stuck to the one side of the tub and if you are short even that little extra reach due tot he tracks is a PIA.
I have a curtain and we have never had issues with water even when DS takes a shower. Its all about teaching them early on.

Re: spinoff to tub
Maybe I am paranoid, but heavy glass doors near kids in bathtubs make me nervous.
I don't have kids yet, but am a big curtain fan.

spinoff to tub
All 3 of my kids are shower kids since they were out of the baby tub and I prefer it that way..I'm not a fan of sitting in dirty skin water but we've had both and I much more prefer the glass doors for water on the floor purposes.
There is always that one kid who manages to soak the floor

Re: spinoff to tub
I prefer a shower curtain because I can change the look of the bathroom seasonally, etc. with a new curtain. Also, a shower curtain is less maintenance/easier to keep clean.
That's my personal view --
Professionally - I think a lot of buyers like the modern look of a glass enclosed shower (it's a clean, modern look, especially if it's frameless). But I think they prefer shower curtains on a full-sized tub (easier with kids, pets, etc. and easier to keep clean).
