Which Wood Stain did you choose or which do you like?
My eye keeps going towards English Chestnut. Anyone have that one?

Which Wood Stain did you choose or which do you like?
We just had our floors done last week. We went with Provincial. After we picked it my floor guy said it's the most popular by far. We love the color.
I added pics in my album.

Same here. Just had our floors done last week and went with Provincial with Semi Gloss. So glad we did, look amazing.

This is what we chose as well. Not too dark or too light and more brown then red.

My suggestion with stain (paint too!!) is to sample them, what you like on a swatch sometimes doesn't translate when you see it in person. We just finished stripping and staining all of our kitchen cabinets, I spent a few weeks testing out different samples including both the colors and the finishes. I'm glad I did because in the end I chose the perfect color, but it took some time to get there.

We're doing Dark Walnut in the beginning of February in a Satin finish !!!! Can't wait to get them done!!!!!!

I think we went with natural our floors right now are in a very high traffic area and I heard that dark staining will show scratches easily. Since I knew we would def. have scratches I went with just natural.
maybe when our basement is done and the kids wont be dragging around toys all over my floors I will get a little darker color. I like cherry and the English chestnut.

i love provincial because its medium color and not "peachy" or any other color mixed in but BROWN.

We used Gunstock because we have Brazilian cherry in part of the house and wanted to match it as closely as possible.

We have a mix of provincial and dark walnut, No sheen finish for kids and dogs. This is the photo I showed to our floor guys for inspiration...we do not have the high gloss finish though.

We have red chestnut on red oak floors- see if you can get a sample of your floor because the different types of wood may take the stain differently
I was terrified that the floors would look like Kool aid lol but I absolutely love them
