What color stain dark wood floor do you have?
We're staining on white oak and trying to chose a color! What color do you have? Do you like it or regret it? Any pics would be helpful!

We have dark walnut. Sorry no pics at the moment. I would've liked to have gone even darker, but I do like the look of these too. They do show scratches more than our lighter stained floors in our previous house.

I have Medium Walnut with satin finish.
Nothing too dark or too shiny. Both will show EVERYTHING!
We have a Rottweiler. She wrecks the floors. You can't see the scratches unless the sun is shining through the window a certain angle. And even then, you have to really look.

No, they're not bad. Just light surface scratches that all wood floors get but the darker you go, the more noticeable they usually are. My DH didn't want to go much darker than we did because everyone says you notice every little thing.
