1st AF after an early MC
Just got my first AF since I had a MC, about 5 weeks along, last month. When I woke up this morning, AF is HEAVY. Almost as heavy as when I had the MC. I stood up out of bed and it was gushing (Sorry TMI ). I do have heavy periods, but this is even above that. Anyone else have this?
ETA: Been trying for 8 months. One BFP that ended in MC. I'm almost 35. When would you suggest going to an RE?

Based on your age you should see an RE. Usually over 35 and been trying for more than 6 months you may want to get a consult.

Re: 1st AF after an early MC
I think periods can vary after MC's. Mine was moderate at first and dropped off after day 2.
I am also 35 and I have been under RE's care after trying for quite a while. As long as you are covered if wont hurt to go, just be prepared for quite a bit of testing. Good luck and I'm sorry for your loss

Re: 1st AF after an early MC
Thanks for sharing girls. I guess I kind of felt like there shouldnt be much tissue/lining left to bleed after having a MC last month. But, this month seems to be the same as when I had the MC. I had the MC so soon after a positive test. I tested on the day I was supposed to get AF (actually at the drs office bc I was there for my annual). I started bleeding 6 days later. I am concerned that this month I am having a chemical bc my period is SO bad and there is a lot of clotting. I don't test before a missed period, so I never took a test to know if there was a chance I was pregnant this month.
I talked to FH about going to RE and he says he thinks we should wait and not put so much pressure on it. I am concerned because I am getting older! And, my mom recently told me about having endometriosis (not diagnosed until she was almost 30). This is the first time I am TTC since having my son when I was 28. My OBGYN has kind of foo-foo'ed the issue of my age and says just to keep trying. But, my gut it telling me I should go to a RE.
