what do you do if you have no coat closet?
I live in a split and I want a coat closet really badly. We throw our coats on the sofa and now that there is 4 of us it looks so sloppy. Our shoes are everywhere. I have no idea where to put the closet. The way the house is designed, I would only be able to create a closet that is the bottom half of the wall, which would be ridiculous. Also, I feel it is so narrow that I have no room for one of those benches with hooks. Any suggestions? TIA

Can you buy one of those wardrobes and use it for a coat closet? Do you have anywhere to put something like thst even at the livingroom entrance?

Right now we have hooks, but after three years of no coat closet I'm soon going to be taking room out of a large bedroom closet to put in a hall closet

what do you do if you have no coat closet?
What about a coat tree that goes in the corner right behind the door when you open it? I have a coat closet, but also a coat tree, and that's where our coats go that are currently in season.

We have a coat closet but it is down the hall a bit so it is not right next to the door. We have a coat tree that we keep our in season coats on. I also purchased a storage bench that fits by the door to store shoes.
