Lij Katz questions
I delivered in city for my dd and we don't have time for a tour. Just got the paperwork and had a few questions.
Are all the recovery rooms private? I thought so but documents said semi private and private are extra.
Is there any problem with toddlers visiting? Just dd who will be 2.
Can visitors really not come before 1 pm? Only see this as issue for dd.

I had dd two years ago. Recovery room was private... I guess they day semi private because i believe one of the walls is more curtain like than a real wall... that part is a bit fuzzy since i had a section.
Regular rooms are all private. Visiting hours are any time. They really don't have a set time for that.
I don't think there are any issues with siblings visiting but it was my first, so I'm not 100% sure. How that helps!

I delivered ds July 2013. I had a private postpartum room which I did not pay extra for. There were no set visiting hours. People came wwhenever. Ds was my first so no kids were there but I believe they can come.

I had DD there in August 2013. No set visiting hours and children are welcomed. Rooms are all private but the food was awful. Spent at least $150 worth of food from Au Bon Pain in the lobby.
Not going back there(switched OBs) delivering at Katz Manhasset.

No visiting hours. Family and friends can come anytime. All private rooms. Yes the food was terrible. I ate it first because I was starting after not eating before my c-section.

Perfect timing on this post as I was just talking to my friend about this today!! Last time I had a private room & I was pretty sure there were no set visiting hours but I'm glad to see this confirmed! Also glad kids can come too, I was a little worried about them possibly having some restriction on this, but good to hear they don't!
