Anyone go to Columbia? Question about SIRM too.

Went last week and they did a blood test to test for celiac disease/gluten issues. Well apparently they don't call with results - which is what I am used to with my old RE's office. So I called on Wednesday and left a message with my Dr's nurse and on the recording it says they'll call back by the end of the NEXT business day - which I am also not used to. So I wait all day Wed and Thursday and NO call back. Call again today and still can't get a person on the phone. Left another message and then called my husband and told him that I am done with them before we even start anything. The fact that I can't get a person on the phone is infuriating. I am so used to getting someone ASAP or getting called back in a few hours.


Made an appointment with Dr. T at SIRM instead - is this normal for Columbia? DO they return phone calls at SIRM?

The doctors at SIRM do a lot through email.

I cannot speak on columbia but I do know at SIRM you get individualized care.

It wasn't uncommon for my doctor to email me back late at night or call from his cell phone whenever i had a question or concern.

I hated Columbia, but I got pregnant. Personally, I think it would have happened anywhere.

I loved Columbia. I never had any issues with calls or anything else for that matter
