Re: Greige Paint HELP

I have the color that is one shade lighter than revere pewter in my hallway (revere pewter in lr/dr). It's really nice in shadows but it's so light in bright areas. When I first walked into our house after having it painted, I didn't even realize the entryway was painted - thought it was an off-white. If your basement is a little dark you will probably love it. But if there's a lot of sunlight, it may be drab.

ETA: smokey taupe was a close contender. Check it out!

We have this same color in basement. It was on the same card as revere pewter just 1 shade lighter. I love it. It was called edge comb grey

Basement room does not have much natural light. We have a deep blue as one accent wall. Bedding is blues and Greys and rug is beige brown. It sounds like it wouldn't match but I love it! Greige is my new fav color.

It doesn't look white in my basement probably because of low natural light.
