BackYard Communion party
I am attending a friends childs communion party this weekend - not the church just the party. Do I need to dress fancy? Could I get away with slim dark jeans and a nice tunic / blouse and wedge sandals? or should I go the dress route?

dress like youre going to dinner for a parents bday. i wouldnt go all out. cute summer dress. capris/ heels and a nice top
def no leggins. i would try not to wear jeans

Thanks...I would never do leggings...but was hoping for those dark jeans..ughhh...I hate dressing up...I really do....I haven't bought capris in years ..may have to go shopping tomorrow.

i guess it depends on the people throwing the party/ guests. if they are more on the casual side, you can def wear jeans.

What she said!If you don't want to do heels in the yard, I'd go with a cute wedge.

I would dress in either a casual dress or nice pants/capris. My dd's communion is Saturday and our party is in backyard. For the $ we're spending, I hope people treat it more than a backyard BBQ!

Its also going to be 80 degrees and sunny i would Do wedges or cute sandals with either
Dress
Capris
Light weight pants or slouchy pants

Casual dress or cute shorts, I think you can definitely wear jeans with a nice top to a backyard communion party!

I just had my sons comunion and a party at home. I didnt honestly care what people wore especially if they didnt come to the church.
