Maternit21/Verify
Hi Ladies
I just got a BFP and my due date would be sometime early/mid January. This is my third pregnancy and I'm 34 going to be 35 in about a month My question is will the dr recommend that I get one of these tests since I will be 35 when I deliver? If yes, when do they usually recommend getting it? TIA!

It's covered of you will be 35 when you deliver.
Recommended about 10-11 weeks. My dr wanted me to wait until 11 weeks to make sure there was enough DNA to collect

Yep, and because you'll be "advanced maternal age" when you deliver, insurance should pick up the tab but I'd call and speak with someone to confirm that.

Even though I'm "advanced maternal age", insurance would only cover one of the three types of tests that were offered to me. Def check with your insurance to see what's covered. In my case, I could only do Panorama since MaterniT21 was not covered. The genetics counselor went over all the options with me.

Yes def this. Each test is done in a diff lab and certain insurances cover certain ones
Same like when you get blood work done for any reason. Some insurance covers labcorp, some quest, etc.
