Graduating 5th grade activities
If your elementary school ends at 5th grade, how does the graduating class celebrate their last year?
Do they have any special dances? Trips? Class bonding activities?
Our PTO has started next year's planning already, looking for some new ideas!

Teachers plan and execute a moving up ceremony,(includes singing, speeches, etc.)and a gradewide trip to the beach. The PTA plans a "dance" , yearbook and 5th grade t shirts.

Graduating 5th grade activities
Ours is sixth grade but we do a beginning of the year ice cream social, a pasta/sports night in the winter and a spring dance. We have a year end BBQ with DJ and then in June we do a bagel breakfast, pizza yearbook signing, hero kickball day, hire mr. softee for an afternoon and then the moving up ceremony. We also buy them a grade shirt, a cinch bag with the Jr. High's logo on it and pay for the yearbooks.

They get a 5th grade trip to a summer camp place, 5th grade bagel breakfast, t-shirts (they get it at the start of the year to wear), yearbooks and a ceremony at the middle school.
