Going to RMA for first time and issue with RS of NY
I went to RS of NY in 2014 for testing. I was almost 43. well I am 44 tomorrow and going to RMA. and RS of NY lost my chart!! the numbers I feel from last year are SOOOO important, especially at my age so we can see the difference in my hormone levels, ovarian reserve...urgh how do you lose a chart???? the girl was like I have your request and if I find it I will send it. so tomorrow I will get my ovarian reserve checked, hormone levels...may have to ask about doner egg if need be but hoping I can use my own. we started trying this month(got married last month) but at my age cant wait.

I'm so sorry to hear they lost your chart! I am switching my RE (because of Insurance) and also now seeing RMA, tomorrow! I have been reading some not so good stuff about RS of NY so I'm not too surprised by this information. I personally think they just don't want to "hand it over" who losses a chart after 1 year! I wonder what would happen if you made a new appointment at RSofNY?

I don't think last years blood work is a is as important as you think, they need to see where you stand today.
Good luck. FYI when I went to RMA they mentioned many pt who came from RsofNY complained.

Her old chart is super important actually when you have low reserve. As someone who had a low reserve, info from my prior two ivf cycles were important for my new dr along w bloodwork. It shows how fast your reserve is going and how much "time" you have. I'm sorry you are going through this. I would call the office manager and demand they find it. I think they legally have to keep your chart! Wtf. This place...

going forward, get a copy of every single test result. I have copies of EVERYTHING for this reason and for easy access to results.
Maybe the lab they used still as record of it? I would try going that route

That's terrible.
Without the data & knowing you had low reserve a year ago, I'd just assume you have no time.
Contacting the lab (or telling the office to contact the lab) with the specific request for values that your new RE thinks would be most important to have is a good idea as well.
