Question about semen analysis and about RMA
i went to RMA today in garden city and loved the dr very much. The issue I have is that they are not open on weekends and the main branch is in the city. Between work and kids it's not possible. They want my husband to get a seen analysis in the city! Is there anywhere local he can get one locally? I hate to have to switch practices since I love the dr but I need convince as well since everything is time consuming.

They have their own urologist on staff in the city so I'm sure that's why they want him to go to him. I'm sure if you talk to your dr you can have dh go on li and send over the results to RMA

It's possible.
It may be difficult, but it certainly is possible.
I did this a few times and certainly have an impossible work schedule.
See if you can go for monitoring before work. It may not always be at the location closest to you depending on their hours.
Weekends are really no big deal. If you go early enough, there is street parking around their city office. I'd zip in before kids woke up & zip home.

RMA mom here. I did most of my monitoring in Garden City on my way to work. If it was the weekend, we would head there first thing in the morning & out by 10am. Procedures were done in NYC so that's where they would want to the SA because the lab is right there.
If it's just bloodwork you need on the weekend, ask for a script to go to an in network lab right around here.

You can have him do the SA at any practice that has a lab. DH had his first one done at Stonybrook before we chose an RE bc it was a male factor issue & his results were sent to the RE practice
