Anatomy Scan & Surprise Gender Reveal
How do you go about this? With DD#1 I just found out right there, but with this one we want to do a really fun reveal with her where we're ALL surprised together. Do I just bring in a notecard and an envelope and ask the technician to write it down for me??

We did a gender reveal cake for this pregnancy, it was so much fun finding out that way vs. how we found out with our DS in the ultrasound room! We asked the dr. to write the gender down on a piece of paper and put it in a sealed envelope (they had them there). I dropped it off to the bakery and asked them to give the envelope back to me when I picked up the cake (just in case!).

Yeah, I really want to do something like that this time around. It seems like so much fun, especially when there's an older sibling to get joy out of it with you.
Maybe I'll still bring an envelope and note card just in case. lol. I assume this won't be a strange request.
(I want to keep it too at the end. For one, to double check. haha. But also as a keepsake for the baby book)

Anatomy Scan & Surprise Gender Reveal
With #1, we asked the tech if she would mind writing it down for us instead of telling us and she had no problem. She stepped out at the end and came back with a sealed envelope. After the reveal, we saw that she had taped a pic of the goods (or lack thereof lol) and wrote I'm A Girl!
She used her own paper and envelope.

Ok. Yeah it seems like a lot of people probably request this, so it's nothing new to them. It will be a lot more fun this way as long as baby is cooperating.
