Older siblings predicting gender

I've read a lot of anecdotal stories about older siblings being able to sense and correctly guess the gender of the baby. Being that I'm team green (and my dd is convinced it's a girl!) I thought it would be fun to hear if anyone else has had their kids show supernatural abilities in guessing!

My dd though I was having a girl, or maybe it's because she wanted a sister. But she would actually get mad if someone said boy. I had a little boy!!!! She was completely wrong!

I did for my mom, when I was 7. She doesn't remember, but I remember telling her and I was correct.

DS would answer "girl" pretty much every time we asked if the baby was a girl or boy... he's also under 2 so we knew he didn't really understand the difference but nonetheless, he stuck to his guns on girl. He did not predict the gender, as we just had our (previously team green) boy!

My DD keeps saying there's a boy and a girl baby in my belly. We'll find out at my first sono this week if she's right about there being two babies, but DH and I are kinda hoping she's wrong - don't think we can handle twins!

My oldest kept on saying I was having a boy and his name. We were team green but had a feeling it was a boy. He was correct though I ended up having a boy.

Juliet kept saying she was having a brother. She was convinced it was a boy. She was absolutely devastated when I told her she was having a sister. I got it on video. She was hysterical screaming - no sister!!! I wanted a boy!

She's come around and is now excited for her sister. One day I'll play that video for them both :)

Awwwww!!! DD1 was convinced I was having a girl and she was correct. I was absolutely terrified of what her reaction would have been if I had a boy ( we were team green)

Haha, i think kids just say what they want to have Chat Icon Although I do agree that some children do seem to have good intuition about things. My DD told her gymnastics teacher that she was going to be a big sister when i was only 6wks & telling NOBODY yet. After previous losses, me & DH didn't even talk about it bc it wasnt even 'real' yet. So that was interesting. But after 1st tri when we officially told her, she always said it was a sister, bc that was what she wanted. Its a boy <3

I know there's a 50-50 chance of them being right! Love hearing the stories!

From the very beginning DS insisted he was having a brother. If you even mentioned the possibility of it being a girl, he shut it down. He would hear none of it. Everyone else was convinced I was having a girl but low and behold big brother was right!

A little update on my dd's prediction of twins. She kept saying I'm having a boy and a girl. I had my first sono today and it's definitely just 1 baby, so her prediction was wrong.
