Short Cycle
I was very regular (28 days) and conceived DD first month of trying. Since I've had her my cycle is all over the place and much shorter. We've been trying for 9 months. My cycles range from 21-25 days. AF normally last like 6 days too. Anyone else have such a short cycle? My ob didn't seem concerned that it would decrease chances of conceiving naturally. Starting to get very depressed.

our cycles do change. i went from 29-32 days before DS, and then after I went on BC for a few years.
When trying for # 2, they are shorter. like 25-28 days. I used to ovulate like day 16, 17, 18 sometimes. now its like day 12-13
if you are tracking with OPK's you may notice that you are ovulating earlier. If you are not, and its later and the cycles are shorter you may have a deficiency in the luteal phase.

i would use an OPK to see when you ovulate. If your luteal phase is short, you can speak to your OB about it. I took advice from ladies on here and took B6 when I realized mine was short and got pregnant that first month of using it

Same! My cycle was about 26 days but I was ovulating on the 17-18th day so definitely had too short of a luteal phase to get pregnant. I took B-100 Complex for a month and got my BFP the next month.

Thank ladies. I am still ovulating on day 14 even with a shorter cycle. I will look into B Vitamins.

the luteal phase is the amount of time after ovulation...so the fact that you ovulate on day 14 with a 21 day cycle means yours is only 7 days long, which is considered short. From what I recall, the average length is 14 days

This was exactly what I was going to say!
I believe it's a minimum of a 12 day luteal phase so I think you need to speak to your OB and possibly see an RE about trying ovadril to bring on ovulation sooner so you increase your luteal phase. My friend had this and once the issue was discovered (she spent too much time talking to her OB and not an RE) she got pregnant the first month!

I believe anything less than 10 days is considered a short LP.

I was in similar situation, started ovulation testing and found out I ovulated on day 20. Immediately started b6 and b complex that day and this month I ovulated on day 12! I know I'm still regulating after going off Bc but praying this the month!
