How do I calculate take home pay as a teacher assistant?

I am looking at job prospect, and all I know is the salary - I'm trying to figure out the approximate take home.

I'm used to the traditional 40hr work week to calculate take home.

I know it's summers off and no work when school is closed. I assume it's 180 days (1080 hours).

Any ideas on how I can calculate??

you just divide by how many paychecks. our school its either 25 paychecks (lump summer pay) or 20 paychecks (evenly distributed between sept-june)
