Rock and Play
Those of you using a RNP...are you using the ACTUAL RNP, or a different version/brand that does the same thing? I'm curious if "RNP" applies to a general rocker or the specific one always. Trying to decide which one to buy for my LO.

Rock and Play
I used the actual RNP for DS and will do the same for this baby too. I'm not sure about other brands but this specific one was great because it has a slight incline. My DS had reflux issues and HATED being flat on his back so the RNP was a life saver. I'm not sure if the other brands have the same kind of incline.

Re: Rock and Play
We used the regular rock and play but it was the basic version without the automatic rocking or the extra cushy head rest.

We used the snugabunny fp one. Had the cushy headrest but not the automatic rocker (which wasn't avail when we had dd1). Works great eith out all the bells and whistles.
The biggest reason is the incline, not flat like a bassinet.

Re: Rock and Play
We used the FP RnP with the auto rocking and music for DD. For DS we just had the swing, which he loved.

Re: Rock and Play
We have the new Deluxe Lamb RNP with the canopy and this is where DD prefers to sleep.

Re: Rock and Play
We use the Fisher Price rock and play which I always assumed was the original.

Re: Rock and Play
We us d and will use again the regular fisher price rock n play. we had the snugabunny one but there was too much fabric by the baby's face, and when I showed a photo to my pediatrician, she advised us to get a plain one.

Re: Rock and Play
we use a regular Rock and Play for DS who is 6 weeks - he loves it. It's the basic one that vibrates but doesn't have music or any of the plush cushioning. It was like 50 bucks I think.

Re: Rock and Play
They only had one kind when I had my DS 4 years ago and that was the original yellow one (which was hard on his head so we shoved a soft blanket under the cover).
This time around I am going with this one because Target had it on sale. I just so glad they inserted more padding in them. These things are great!
