Infant car seat

Ours will be expired by the time baby arrives, so we're hoping to take advantage of the BRU trade-in event in Feb. But I have no idea what to get! Is there a comparison chart or something somewhere?

We already have the Snap and Go so I want it to fit that. Other than that, lightness of the seat is high priority for me. I'm okay with a low weight limit seat as my kids are peanuts.

We currently have the Graco Snugride 22.

Feeling overwhelmed and really glad that this is the only piece of gear we need!

When is your baby due? I'll be selling our Chico key fit 30. It's only being used in dhs car now as an extra car seat. We have the britax bsafe in mine.

Re: Infant car seat

I'm due in July. Probably looking to get a new one though.

Yes, I just got an email about it. Rewards members get early access the last weekend in Jan.

Pretry much anything fits in the snap and go some is universal.

Stay away from baby trend and Evenflo infant seats.

BT doesn't typically fit average size newborns properly at all. (Same as the graco 22, so its actually good its expiring)

Evenflo seats require the handle to be in the down position while in the car and have 1.5" of space between the handle and the seat in front of it. That becomes problematic in even larger vehicles for the passenger.

Do you have a budget in mind?

Cheap Chat Icon seriously though we don't have a ton of money to spend. We have a Mazda 5 so it's a pretty small car, so something on the smaller side would be good. My main concerns are lightweight and easy to install. My older sons are in a britax marathon and a graco Argos, which I despise taking in and out.

I'm going to have to do a little more research but fitting 3 across with those seats may be hard.

The urbini petal is about $100 in walmart and is a good seat. I have to see how narrow it is and if it will be possible to get it to fit. The argos is wide, and I'm assuming the marathon is an older generation (more than a year old?)

How old are your older sons?

Re: Infant car seat

Actually the Mazda 5 has a third row so we intend for the oldest to be in the back. It's different from the cx5. My other two will be 5 and 2.5. And yes our marathon is more this a year old. Thanks for your help!
