UPDATE 2/17: I can't even believe I get to type this right now. I feel beyond blessed. We had our ultrasound this morning and our little bean is not only in the right place, but he/she is measuring exactly where it should be! The ultrasound tech warned us that it's so early she probably wouldn't be able to see anything more than the sac (if it was even in the uterus) but literally seconds after she started she said "there it is!" and turned the screen so I could see the most beautiful thing I've ever seen  And then after telling us that it's measuring at 5w4d (which is perfect for my LMP), she pointed to the fetal pole and said "looks like baby is already there". DH and I have never been so relieved.
I cant thank you all enough for your prayers and support this past week and a half. And to everyone who reached out through FM to check on me Without you ladies I would have drove myself crazy with worry. You were all SO optimistic and it helped us to keep ourselves hopeful. I'm so glad we did 
BEST update!!! and news! congrats! so so happy for you and your family!!!! And you have been so supportive with everyone also, you deserve it in return :)

I'm not sure yet. The ultrasound is done at an outside radiology center, not in my OB's office, so I'm waiting for my doctor to call me back after reviewing the results of the sono and let me know when he wants to see me next. I'm assuming he will have us do another sono around 7 weeks to check for the heartbeat.
I'm also planning on switching OB's within the next few weeks because this one no longer delivers. The new OB (who I've been waiting to switch to since before my ectopic) has a lab and ultrasound machine in her office, so it will be much easier.
