I went for my 3rd round of betas this morning at 8:00. I don't expect the results until late this afternoon, but I will update as soon as I hear from the doctor's office.
Any updates?
Not yet  Doctor's office called last night to say that my results were still "Pending" at the lab and that they would try calling the lab again first thing this morning.
...this has been the most drawn out situation. It's killing us. We started this process over a week ago and we still don't have a solid answer. I have a feeling after today we wont fully know either.
Oh, that is so frustrating, it's the worst not knowing what is going on. I hope you get answers soon.

seriously - at this point he should bring you in to see if he can see a fetal pole in the proper place and that it's not ectopic again (which I don't think it will be) A sonogram would be able to at least see if there's a pole in your uterus since you'd be about 5 weeks and change, right?
I'm so frustrated for you!

UPDATE: The doctor's office called and my betas jumped to 1770! They're sending me for an ultrasound on Thursday afternoon. I'm a bit nervous because I'll only be 5w3d (by my calculations, but it's possible I'm earlier) and I don't know if they'll even be able to see anything at this point. But I'm thrilled with the betas rising!

wow that is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had one done that early. They saw a sac at that point. They mostly checked me at that time just to rule out ectopic. You will definitely see something with hcg levels that high though

Great update! Continued prayers for you! They should be able to at least see a sac by then. I had one done that early with DS2 and all we saw was the sac, but it at least told them the pregnancy was in the right spot.

You'll be able to see where the sac is. You won't see a hb, though, unless you're about a week further along.

It really depends because at this early stage each day can make a huge difference on what you can see. I saw a HD at 6 weeks.

Awesome news!!!! You may see just a sac at that point... I had a sono at around 6w and I saw a teeny tiny flicker and the US tech said that the HB had to have like... JUST started that morning.
