Re: Brazilian Blowouts???
I love it!!! I go every 4-5 months but I have a lot of hair and it's long so it really helps me. I just blow dry my hair after I shower (not blow it out, just use the dryer) and it is so silky and smooth. You are going to love it!
I use the Brazilian Blowout shampoo and conditioner which helps it last also.

Re: Brazilian Blowouts???
I did it back when it was first becoming popular. I found it helped take the poof out of my hair and cut down on drying time. As for the actual day of application, I was shocked at how bad the chemicals smelled while my hair girl was applying it. I had to keep my eyes closed the entire time or they burned .. The results made it worth it- however- because of that and my recent push for using natural products, I never got it since then.

Brazilian Blowouts???
I get it done once a quarter, on a maintenance plan. Its the only thing that makes my hair workable and without frizz.
You should also use the BB shampoo and conditioner. If I use a different (still sulfate free) product I can tell the difference and it is more frizzy than before.
The place I goes to has a fan that they put near your head that sucks in the air so that you don't breathe it in or have it bother your eyes.

Re: Brazilian Blowouts???
I had it done last summer. I was terrified to lose my curls but, I couldn't take the frizz. It was awesome. I didn't use the shampoo and I think it didn't last as long as it should have. I used a different sulfate free one.
I am having it done this summer again and I will use the products. Also, my stylist told me that if I wanted to keep my curl pattern, I couldn't do it too often. She said eventually, it would change my curl pattern. I don't blow out my hair straight. It just made my curls more manageable. I am sure a blow out would have been much easier though.
