Planting flowers
Who has planted their flower beds? Where do you get your flowers from? In the past I have gone to Home Depot but they dont have much of a selection nor quality

Local garden centers. They're all over LI. Not sure where you are, but Hicks is a huge one, though there are others less expensive. But again, not sure where you are.

I have not planted yet this year due to the colder temps.
I have bought from HD in the past but their plants arent usually the best. Lowes is better but if I have time and energy I drive to Bloomin Haus in Holtsville

I recently went to Bloomin Haus in Holtsville they have a huge selection.
I did plant a few flowers several weeks ago and I got them from Home Depot. They seem to be holding up well, even with this crazy weather.

Planted some last weekend. I also wasn't thrilled with Home Depot's selection and went to Prianti in E. Northport

I did some planting within the last 2 weeks. I got my flowers from a local nursery. I find that the quality is so much better than HD or Lowe's.

2 years ago I bought the same exact type of Salvia, one set from Home Depot, the other from Hicks.
The ones from Hicks, though more expensive, grew so much better than the HD ones. Even now, the ones from Hicks are twice the size already.
I also love Martin Viette on 25A. they have unique and/or harder to find stuff. They always have a great selection of Coleus and lavender

I have planted already. Still some more to do.
Bought some stuff at Stew Leonards, Garden World and Hicks. Home Depot is usually just eh quality wise.

I planted yesterday. I go to Garden World. I do not like the quality of HD plants the last few years.

DH buys most of the flowers we plant from the people of the west Islip beautification society. They have a big sale every year before Mother's Day. Beautiful selection and it helps the community.
Local nurseries, like stables also have a nice selection

i help do the gardening around my apartment complex and we've planted. HD plants are cheap but poor quality.
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Dee's in oceanside. pricey but you can't go wrong.

Either bloomin haus in holtsville or cheap SAMs also in holtsville. We have gotten from lowes before but they are expensive and didn't even last!
