LI hiring process question- did i get the job?

I've been on 3 rounds of interviews/demos over the last 1-2 months for a teaching position on LI. I just got a call from the district office asking to come in next week with my SS card and license. Does this mean I got the job?

I know when they called my references that they told one of them that I was the one they wanted to select for the position, but that there was also another candidate. This was almost 3 weeks ago, though. I'm pretty excited, but still not sure if I should be yet lol

usually the last step is to meet with the superintendent and then you go to personnel and then they take all of your information the license Social Security transcript etcetera it does look good and good luck to you

update- I went yesterday and met the superintendent. I THINK it went well, but was told I won't hear until the end of the week. However, I was given a huge packet with the entire work application, new teacher orientation info, health insurance info, salary info, etc. I was told not to fill it out until I get the call, though.

I guess I can't get too excited yet... I will be so disappointed if I made it all this way and didn't get the job offer :(
