If you get your eyebrows tinted...
My brows are a good shape but have some weird spots where the hair is lighter and fine so it looks like bald spots. I was tired of getting my brows tinted professionally every 3-4 weeks at $25 a pop, so I started googling ways to make it last longer and came across a blogger who said she used Just for Men Beard and Mustache dye to do the job. I figured what the hell... $10 for a box (might be cheaper in the US) and because the dye and developer come in capped tubes you get multiple uses out of it.
You only need a little bit and it only takes 5 minutes but I am really happy with the result! I used a clean spoolie instead of the brush it comes with for more control. The dye says 5 min but you can see the color developing and decide if you want to leave it on that long or take it off sooner. Once it was done I just wiped the excess off with a wet cotton round and that was it! Super easy. Even if it doesn't last as long, 5 minutes a week or so is better than filling in my brows every day.

That's interesting. Was it too dark? Did you get them waxed or threaded first beforehand to shape them?

Honestly I go to the beauty supply store and buy actual hair dye in the tube, in the color I want. I buy the proper volume to mix in. I also buy the stuff to remove the dye stains. I buy it maybe once every 6 months IF that. And I dye my eyebrows myself about every 2 weeks or every week if I feel its necessary.
I HIGHLY recommend doing this as its the cheapest option.
I use a Loreal mix, with volume 20. I buy small bottles of it.I also purchased a bowl to mix in, but you dont necessarily need it. And I leave it on for about 10 min sometimes 15 depends how dark I want them. I use a dark brown color.
