Duvet cover and comforter
So I usually buy comforter sets, but decided to try a duvet cover set this time. I purchased a down alternive to put inside.
Can someone offer some tips on how to make the comforter stop moving around so much in it?
Is there an easy way to get the comforter inside the duvet? It was annoying to do. I find the duvet is so much bigger that 1 side towards the edge, like about 7-10 inches has no comforter just duvet cover but the other side is fine. Is there an easy way to move the comforter around within the duvet cover when it bunches?
I considered a duvet cause i wanted a white set and thought the convenience of washing it would be great. But im kind of 2nd guessing that now.
Currently im not really loving it and considering returning it to just get a comforter with the same design.
Do you prefer a duvet cover or just comforter sets?

Re: Duvet cover and comforter
I like the duvet because I am a freak and like to change my bedding often. They take up less space than comforters.
It's a hassle though, for sure. Practice will help. I have a king so it's especially a pain in the ass. I find that putting the duvet inside out and then tying the two bottom ties helps a lot, then I right-side it with the insert inside. Then I shake it to smooth it out. I have also just crawled into it to smooth it out.
The process is not very elegant. But I like my duvet collection.

Duvet cover and comforter
My duvet cover has little ties on the corners on the inside that I tie around the comforter corners so it doesn't move. To get the comforter in the duvet, I lay the comforter out on the floor, turn the duvet inside out, match it up with the corners and tie it, then turn everything right side out, shake it out and put it on the bed.

I got clips at BBB or somewhere like that - duvet clips - works like a charm, just clip them in the corners, doesn't move.
I prefer duvet because i have the WORST time with bedding and I find more duvets I actually like.

When I used a duvet, I had these corner clips I put on to keep it in place. Worked great!
