Kindergarten reading apps

What apps do you love that help your child with reading? I have ABC mouse but I'm looking for other recommendations.

Re: Kindergarten reading apps

I always recommend Duck Duck Mouse. They are awesome and all free from Kahn education. I heard about it on the Today Show one morning getting the kids ready for school. Several apps and they're all great and all free. Chat Icon

This is what my kids use. The teacher loads leveled "books" under my DDs "assignment" section of Raz-Kids.

Re: Kindergarten reading apps

I think Raz kids hid my son's dyslexia.

He used it in first grade and they read the book to you first, then he was supposed to read it and then answer questions. Since his comprehension is very good, he got 100's on the questions.

I know that this isn't a common way of looking at it, but for a long time it masked the issue for us.

Of course if you are just using it for fun at home, it doesn't matter Chat Icon
