Braxton Hicks?!?!
This is my second pregnancy and I'm 27 weeks. For the past three days I've had horrible tightness and cramping. Last night went to the hospital bc I swore I was going into labor. Results all came back fine. Even went to double check again today with my OBGYN. It is so painful and gets worse throughout the day. They feel like horrible menstrual cramps, sometimes hurt so much I have to lay down. Drs believe it's stretching and Braxton hicks. I was super hydrated. I have no idea what caused this. ;(
Did anyone else have them be so painful? Will they go away or continue till the end? Is there any relief sight? Did you end up delivering early?

Re: Braxton Hicks?!?!
Where exactly is the pain. I thought I was having something similar and it turned out to be my gallbladder believe it or not.

Braxton Hicks?!?!
I had this starting at 27 weeks also and ended up in L&D. The contractions were showing up on the monitor too and began to show a pattern. I had to stay for a few hours and was checked twice but since I wasnt dilating they sent me home. They told me I had an irritable uterus. I continued having contractions off and on the rest of my pregnancy. Towards the end it was so hard to tell if it was real or not!! At 35 weeks I went to L&D and was 2cm with contractions on the monitor 5 min apart but they eventually slowed down and I was sent home. I delivered at 38 weeks. Its stressful and uncomfortable!! I hope you feel better!!!

Braxton Hicks?!?!
Could be round ligament pain accompanied with BH. I had this happen to me. Round Ligament was pretty bad. My pain was constant though, nothing that I could time. If it's something that's timeable then I would worry. I had it with my 2nd pregnancy, not my 1st. Nothing really helped alleviate the pain. I had read you could take alleve or motrin for the pain I think. I noticed it most after I would overexert myself. Mostly on the weekends when I was home running after my 18 month old. Feel better!

Re: Braxton Hicks?!?!
Braxton Hicks shouldn't be painful.
