Re: Favorite recipes for the grill?
I love taking a sweet potato and slicing it thin, marinating it in some olive oil, salt and pepper and then grilling it on a vege pan on the grill. Turn half way through cooking and brush with more of the olive oil, salt and pepper. It comes out crispy and delicious.
Other than that we do the basics, burgers, dogs, london broil, marinated grilled chicken (I found a recipe for margarita grilled chicken this weekend- you marinate it in margarita mix!) that was so good.

The sweet potatoes sound great! I actually did sweet potatoes the one time I've gotten to use the grill. I used this recipe but made thick slices and boiled them until tender, then grilled and glazed them. I like that you can cook them ahead if you're entertaining and then they only take a few minutes on the grill.

My favorite from All recipes- super easy!
Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs
"Honey chicken kabobs with veggies. You can marinate overnight and make these kabobs for an outdoor barbecue as a tasty alternative to the usual barbecue fare! Fresh mushrooms and cherry tomatoes can also be used. (This can also be done in the broiler.)" Ingredients 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes 2 cloves garlic 5 small onions, cut into 2 inch pieces 2 red bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces skewers Directions In a large bowl, whisk together oil, honey, soy sauce, and pepper. Before adding chicken, reserve a small amount of marinade to brush onto kabobs while cooking. Place the chicken, garlic, onions and peppers in the bowl, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours (the longer the better). Preheat the grill for high heat. Drain marinade from the chicken and vegetables, and discard marinade. Thread chicken and vegetables alternately onto the skewers. Lightly oil the grill grate. Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, until chicken juices run clear. Turn and brush with reserved marinade frequently.

Re: Favorite recipes for the grill?
Lobsters. Have them killed and cleaned. Just throw on grill.
Shishito peppers are also a fav. And fresh whole fish like red snapper. Have it cleaned, deboned and butterfliesd in store. Season it with salt pepper oregano. Throw in sprigs of thyme and a few slices of lemon. So healthy and delicious. You will need fish holders for it but theyre inexpensive.

Re: Favorite recipes for the grill?
Ooh! Sweet Apple sausages! Cut them up and put them in skewers with strawberries and grill them. Such a yummy summer appetizer. They look pretty, too.
I also got pizza stones and make pizza all the time. And for dessert I make Nutella pizza and throw on banana and marshmallows

I do clams all the time.
I melt butter with garlic in a bowl. I put the clams on the grill and wait for them to open. Once opened, I spoon the garlic and butter over the clams until it bubbles.

That sounds great!! I use a pan for the bbq (it has holes all over) for grilled veggies (radicchio, zucchini, onions, eggplant) if you throw in the clams with the garlic butter, man that would be amazing!!!

Favorite recipes for the grill?
My family goes nuts over clams on the grill. They just spoon in homemade cocktail sauce once they open. People seriously tackle each other to get to them once they're ready lol.

-PEACHES!!! we do chicken and peaches together. Grilled peaches is like eating candy.
-chicken wings in different marinades/sauces
-Quinoa burgers. also every other kind of burger, bean, turkey, beef.
-pizzas. this can be a lot of work and sometimes doesn't come out very good i dont know why we still do it lol

Posted by MrsT809 Do you have a recipe for quinoa burgers?
I do have one that I like that is quinoa-white beans, the only problem is that it doesn't hold up very well all the time on the grill and really needs to be pan fried instead. When I dig this recipe out from my crazy messy binder, I will type it up for you.
For now, the absolute best quinoa burger I have ever had is from BurgerFi. Best burger of my life. Any kind of burger. The BEST. So I have two copycat recipes of it that I will try this summer and see if they taste better and close to what I am imagining. I will share those two links with you.

WE do clams also. Sometimes we'll put some bacon and Worcestershire sauce and grill them like that. Not healthy but awesome.
