Girls trip, where to go
The Outer Banks is nice but, not as easy to get to.
Myrtle Beach is great - and it's cheaper at the end of August as local schools are back in session.
Charleston is really nice as well.
Nashville is another good option.

Charleston would be a fun girl's weekend i think. Lots of great restaurants/ shopping, you could do a beach day, tour a plantation

Re: Girls trip, where to go
Charleston has Boone Hall (Gone With the Wind). I haven’t been in 30 years, but I used to go a lot because of family.
Savannah?
Miami?
However, I can’t stand hot weather. I’d want to go up north. Like somewhere in Massachusetts or Maine or Vermont.
What kind of vacation is everyone looking for? Beach? Get drunk and party? History? Does everyone like really hot weather? I mean, it’s August and, for me, it sounds miserable to go down south.

Re: Girls trip, where to go
Thanks for all the ideas! I think beach and foodie stuff are what we're up for. If we can get there on a direct flight and sit on a beach we're golden pun intended
