Disney for the first time - which park?
Hey all. Never been to Disney, visiting my best friend in Orlando 5/3-5/8 and thinking of spending a day at Disney since both me and my bf have never been.. where should I go? Magic Kingdom? Universal? We're both into Harry Potter but I'm not sure what to do! Should I go to one on Friday and another on Monday?

If you're into Harry Potter I'd do Universal. But if you want to experience Disney then I'd go to Magic Kingdom.

Disney for the first time - which park?
Universal is not Disney, it's a separate park. If it's just the two of you, you would probably have more fun there. Especially if you are Harry Potter fans! We love Disney, but Universal is great also! Get a park to park ticket so you can ride Hogwart's...it's so awesome!!

I love Disney and I've gone several times as an adult with no kids. But I'd do Universal, especially for Harry Potter fans. It's amazing, I'm dying to go back!

If anyone plans on being in FL on June 2nd, check out the Orlando Informer private event at Universal! It's "after hours" and includes unlimited food, drinks, desserts, even butterbeer! And the park is closed to the general public. My son and I are going for the weekend! Super excited

I’d definitely do a day at Universal and a day at Magic Kingdom.
Universal is really great and humane in terms of lines and crowds. Definitely a fun place for the over 8 year old set.
Disney is Disney. You should check it out. Magic Kingdom is the best park and the “Disney” people think of.

Magic Kingdom!! Always my first choice!!!! 
Universal is awesome too, the Harry Potter lands and Hogwarts Express are just AMAZING!
