vacation rec's
Hello, we are a family of 5. kids 7, 5, 2 right now.
We are looking for a couple of trips with in the next year but traveling with 5 seems difficult lol. My youngest is a PITA lol so quick flights are a must. All inclusive is a plus. I would like a nice resort where I don't have to do anything besides walk to the beach lol. Family friendly, Nice weather in April. I am looking at the Disney cruise but its $$$ so maybe not.
Any good resorts that are family, really 2 yr old friendly lol
St Thomas? ST. Croix? St Marteen? even Florida but wodnering if the water is warn enough in April or should we wait a bit

If you want all inclusive you will have to go outside the US and even the US Virgin Islands.

Re: vacation rec's
For all inclusive we did Royalton Bavaro Punta Cana in January and Beaches Turks and Caicos in May. January 2019 we are going to Royalton Riveria Cancun. July 2019 possibly Royalton St.Martin (sonesta great bay is becoming a Royalton and I can’t wait) OR beaches Negril.
All of the resorts we visit have great options for a family of five. We do the 1 bedroom presidential suite at the Royalton resorts and one bedroom suite at beaches. For us a separate bedroom is a must.
Also, the Royalton brand usually has a promo where up to 2 children are free in certain room categories.
ETA my kids are 6 6 and 8. The resorts have great kids clubs but we never use them because we want to spend our time with the kids on vacation.

The Disney Cruise is great. The kids clubs are awesome. We didn’t use them a ton but it was nice during dinner, the kids ate first and we were able to eat a nice relaxing dinner.
I’ve heard great things about Beaches. My friend who loves T&C just did Jamaica and said it was wonderful as well.

How did you do Beaches T&C? Every time I look b/c I'm dying to go its costing us at least 16,000 dollars. Are you really paying that for your family of 5?

Re: vacation rec's
More affordable times to visit Beaches T and C is early May, September is good also. Right now there is a Black Friday sale and coupled with the 777 sale there are a few deals available. We did six nights in a one bedroom concierge suite in Key West. We booked a package with jetblue vacations and it cost us 11k. If Turks is on your list, Beaches is worth the price. If you stay outside beaches, food is very expensive. To get meals, snacks, alcohol round the clock coupled with activities and kids club/childcare it’s your best option. You can stay under 8k with a family of 5 buy choosing lower room categories, (no separate bedroom) and booking way in advance during the cheaper months I mentioned. The cheaper categories get sold out fast, so all that’s left are the higher priced options.
ETA I priced September 2019, 7th through the 13th, 6 nights is priced at 6,621. plus airfare if you buy early enough can be approx 300 pp. so say 1500. Around 8k. Room category is Caribbean honeymoon luxury concierge suite.

Re: vacation rec's
I just booked all inclusive to Cancun staying at Melia Paradisus. We did a Fri-Tues.
Also booked Aruba at the end of August. They have a lot more all inclusive resorts now.

If you don't want to fly another option is Woodloch Pines in the Poconos - you can get all your meals and there are lots of activities and a pool to keep the kids happy. No beach but easier to get to
