Re: Favorite Caribbean Island?
From what you described Aruba would be the best bet. It is very warm year round, clean, calm water and safe. Great restaurants and beautiful hotels. We always stay at the Marriott timeshare and lots to do there for families. Kids area, lazy river, water slide, spray area and walking distance to everything. Bonus having a kitchen so you can make food in the room or throw some snacks together and bring it down in a cooler to the beach.

Thanks for all the responses!
DH wants to do Bermuda, but I'm a little crazy and I LOVE hot hot hot weather (I'm the only person I know who legit loves heat waves.) I am afraid that Bermuda would not be hot enough for me lol.
I have a lot of options to research now though! Thanks again
you aren't alone. I love heat too. Like 90 degree heat waves? Bring it on! What month are you going again? ETA- sorry i just went back and looked. Bermuda will be warm in May- but not hot, hot hot. I think we went on a few cruises there in May and it was like 75-80 maybe? Florida is warmer to be honest
And looking at your requirements- the Keys checks all those boxes actually. As does the Gulf Coast of Florida. Would you consider staying in the US?
We haven't ruled out Florida, but we've been there a bunch of times so we wanted to try someplace different. But if I don't take care of our passports ASAP, we'll have no choice!
If you do decide- check this place out. It was incredible! Fly into Miami or Ft Lauderdale and it's about an hour drive. It's the newest resort in the keys. It was spectacular. Kids club- where they have different activities posted each day. Fishing off the pier every day for kids The water is calm and you see sea life. It was the most beautiful place.
Playa Largo Resort and Spa
Omg this looks absolutely incredible . I have to say, South Florida (particularly South Beach) is my happy place, so I can't go wrong with anywhere in the vicinity. If not in May, I am keeping this in mind for future travels. Thanks!
