Cordless phone- recommendations
Any recommendations on a good cordless phone?
I am always talking on my house phone because no one can ever hear me on my cell unless I have a headset on; plus I prefer using my regular phone.
My current phone is starting to go like my last one. Basically even if the phone has been charged all day and I haven’t really used it the battery starts to die when I am on it only after a short period of time. This happened with my last set of phones too.
I have maybe had this a year maybe 2 (I’m bad with remembering when I get things).
So looking for recommendations. I like having at least 2 handsets so I forget to charge one I have the other. Plus it’s always good for when one phone starts to go I have the other as a backup till I go buy a new one

Re: Cordless phone- recommendations
I have a set that comes with 3 cordless phones. The main base has an answering machine built in and then there are the 2 extensions. I think we got it at like BJ's or Costco- not sure of the brand. But it comes in a set and it's been working great for a few years now.

I have always bought Panasonic and never had problems. Always had problems with other brands.

I use whatever Panasonic one has at least 3 handsets from BJs. Right now (from a few years ago) I have model no. KX-TGEA40. After several years when they act up, I just replace with new.

I just got a set from Amazon recently - it was an expandable set ended up with 6 handsets- it's an AT + T and so far they are great- the buttons are slightly bigger than other brands which my Dad needs.

Whatever Costco has on sale at the time. We have a Panasonic base + 3 now that we've had for a while.

I bought a v-tech for Amazon, works like a charm. I just got the one but it comes with the option for the other headsets.

vtech is what i have now. I just looked I bought them in march of 2018 and i definitely didn't set them up right away. so looks like they are going to barley make it a year and half
last set I had might have been Vtech or maybe At&t that set definitely lasted me at least 3 years.
I will look into the BJs ones since i have membership there.
thanks everyone

Hmmm.,, so now you have me wondering lol. I’ve always had v-tech in the past and they lasted forever. But I’ve stopped having house phones for several years until very recent when I moved into an apt. building. Maybe they went down in quality, I literally had my phone for three weeks. So don’t go by me and I will let y’all know if it craps out.

This. I had the same problem and bought new batteries on eBay and about 2 years later it’s still holding a great charge.
