Restaurant Delivery Charge
Does the delivery person get the money from the delivery charge?
There is a restaurant that charges $2 to deliver. I always tip the driver what I would normally tip had there been no delivery charge, but I was wondering if he's getting a tip + $2.
I know. . . first world problems.

Most likely not - the delivery charge probably covers delivery overhead (gas, etc).

I don't believe so. I think the delivery charge usually goes all to the restaurant.

No - the driver does not get the delivery fee. That goes to the restaurant.

No, delivery drivers have to cover their own gas.
But I do agree that the delivery charge does not go to the driver.
