First appointment with primary doctor if you already had your yearly appointment elsewhere
Can you go to a new primary doctor as a new patient even if you have already done your yearly physical, bloodwork, etc with another doctor? I want to switch to a doctor closer to me but the wait is long so I want to see my doctor I am presently with to do my yearly bloodwork in the meantime.

You should choose one. You can switch, but then have your records sent over. Don't go back and forth. That's what urgent care is for.

Check your insurance policy. Chances are you will not be covered for that second "well" visit with the new doctor, and it will count as a "sick" visit.

agree unless it was 2019, then you might be able to have a wellness visit
otherwise, you dont need a wellness visit to see a new MD
