has anyone reached out to a bank to see if they will reduce your interest rate?

since i'm working my way out of debt, i thought i'd call around. as of yet, i've only reached out to one bank... chase. they told me to suck an egg.

has anyone else tried?
any banks work with you?

i'm still going to try with care credit and my car loan.

I doubt the banks are going to be willing to work with anyone right now. They are worrying about laying off half their employees.

You can call and ask. SoMe will do this if you start to default. Worst they will say is no.

I’m pretty sure the banks are more concerned about not shutting down right now-dh works in finance and this whole thing is terrifying.
