Re: Pseg is awful

I didn't expect them to come running and fix the problem, stat! BUT they should never have said, "we got this" or, "we're prepared". They were NOT. They should have said, "with the pandemic, expect a few hiccups because many of our agents are working from home. Their power could be out, too" There's no excuse, IMO for the app to be down. People couldn't report serious problems or outages. I want to tell them to take their power supply charges and shove it up their @$$
ITA
If they didn't show that hubris people would have been a lot more patient.
I have a downed tree and downed power lines at my mom's. It's all pretty close to her door. She doesn't move that quickly and can't hear well. I don't want to think about what a fire on the property would mean.
I had several people helping me to try to get a hold of PSEG and we couldn't. I understand they can't drop everything and get to me right away but they need to be able to COMMUNICATE with people. I had to message the TOB supervisor on FB and he got us on the PSEG list.
I get that the storm was bad and for the minor stuff people need to be patient and help each other out but there is no excuse for their boasting and shit systems.
I think it’s all over the tri-State. We have O&R and they did the same thing, their website sucks, we’ve been out 33 hours with no estimate other than the blanket one that everyone will have power back by Tuesday!
Last night supposedly they ordered people in and didn’t pay OT! I do see people getting power back at a quicker rate today than last night. Thankfully it’s a cool night tonight!
