What was your experience with Dr Pena and Dr Palter
From what I remember both are good MD. My last RE was a consult with Dr. Brenner, who had my crying but he was up front and caring. Dr. Brenner was big on DE. Over all L.I IVF is long standing of good results. The quality of their labs help with positive results too.
Many on here liked Dr Palter too.
Stay away from RSONY, the were always the worst, many neg comments on this site including from me.

Re: What was your experience with Dr Pena and Dr Palter
Not me, but my sister had fertility struggles for years. She initially went to Palter but had a bad experience, although the reason she had gone there was based off 2 high recommendations, so it obviously varies person to person.
She went to several consults after that and ended up with Pena. He got her pregnant on the first try. Palter told her to not bother with chromosomal testing, but after extensive tests, Pena had a hunch it was her eggs. Her first egg retrieval resulted in 2 mosiacs so thankfully they did not implant as they likely would have resulted in miscarriage. Her second egg retrieval yielded 3 completely normal embryos and the first embryo implanted resulted in pregnancy. Her son is now over a year old and she just had another implanted last week. Hoping for a positive by next week!
Good Luck! The process is so hard...in was so painful to watch her go through it. But I always told her her time will come and so will yours :)

Re: What was your experience with Dr Pena and Dr Palter
I conceived my daughter without any fertility issues. 4 months of trying and bam. When it came time to try for baby #2, we just couldn't get pregnant after trying for over a year and I was diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility.
I started with Dr. Pena and saw him for 3 medicated IUI cycles. He had zero bedside manner and I hated that LIIVF had a factory feel to it. No appointments for morning monitoring so I never knew if I'd make it to work on time, had to see all different doctors/nurses, had to travel to different LIIVF locations. I felt like my cycles were never timed properly. I ended up switching to Dr. Palter and I was SO much happier. You walked in and everyone knew your name. Dr. Palter is not all warm and fuzzy either but I felt more comfortable with him and that he knew what he was doing. We decided to go right to IVF and I was successful on my first cycle. My son is my angel and I'm so thankful for everyone at Gold Coast IVF.

When he saw the 1000 unfriendly looking dogs staring back at him, he growled at them and was horrified to see 1000 little dogs growling back at him. As he left, he thought to himself, "That is a horrible place, and I will never go back there again." voip phone system
