Resume Ques

I haven't written a resume in a very long time.

Do I list all the companies I've worked for since graduating in 2000? They are only 4, but wasn't sure if they should all be listed.

Re: Resume Ques

Only list what’s relevant to the position you are applying for. It should all fit on one page. No one really cares what you were doing 20 yrs ago.

They may also have you fill out an application and there you can add all of your work history.

Resumes can be longer than one page now, especially when you have 20 years of experience . I would list the most recent positions with a decent amount of detail and out the older ones under “Othet Relevant Experience”.

never go 20 years back you're dating yourself. Usually 15 years is the max. One page is ideal if not possible make sure to set up the pages so they are almost equal in page coverage. 3-4 bullets per paragraph. Gppd luck

I would say that it depends. For me, it's standard to have a CV, not a resume, and my CV is a few pages long.

What is the industry? Is all of the work experience relevant to the position you're applying for?

I’ve interviewed quite a few people in my current job and I don’t think any of them had a one page resume, so I wouldn’t worry about that. I would include all job experience that is relevant to the job you are applying for, regardless of how far back it goes.

Same here. Have interviewed many and completely agree with this.
